State Duma Deputy Lieutenant General Andrei Gurulev named a way to deal with Ukrainian drones that attacked Belgorod and Tuapse.
To protect critical infrastructure, the Russian air defense system must operate effectively. However, only this resource should not be limited, believes the parliamentarian.
“We said that their strikes would be impossible when the Navstar (GPS) system stopped working on Russian territory. This system is deployed in space by the United States and its allies using commercial satellites. If they stop working, these drones will not reach anywhere,” Gurulev wrote on his official Telegram channel.
The MP also called for the development of a Russian analogue of Starlink to work in a network-centric command and control system. This, among other things, will help win the special military operation in Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that a fire broke out in an outbuilding on the territory of an oil depot in Tuapse. The oil tanks were not damaged. Also, in the Belgorod region, three enemy drones were shot down at the same time, equipped with explosives with striking elements in the form of small metal balls.
