Kuleba spoke about the process of appointing the Ambassador of Ukraine to Georgia

February 28, 2023, 7:11 p.m. – Public Information Service – TEH – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba spoke about the process of appointing the country’s ambassador to Georgia. According to him, the issue has reached the final stage of discussions. It is reported by TASS.
“The appointment of Ukraine’s ambassador to Georgia is in the final stages. When he goes to Georgia, it is already a hot political issue,” the news agency quoted Kuleba as saying.
He pointed out that the presence or absence of an ambassador is always a certain political signal.
The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said he was convinced that relations between the Ukrainian and Georgian people “remain invariably fraternal and positive”, unlike communication at the level of the authorities.

Earlier, it was reported that Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili announced her intention to veto if the country’s parliament passes a law on foreign agents.
According to her, such an initiative distances Georgia from Europe.
