And instead of meat, it is worth including a soy analogue in the diet. It will serve as a source of protein and B vitamins. It is also necessary to eat vegetable oils and nuts. By including all of these foods in the diet, fasting people will be able to avoid vitamin and nutrient deficiency, Kruglova concluded.
