This conclusion was drawn by the European Environment Agency (EEA).In recent years, hundreds of tonnes of textiles have been supplied by EU countries to Africa and Asia. Around 46% of used clothing in the EU is in Africa and around 41% in Asia.Old textiles from Europe are either resold or recycled in the countries of this region. Anything that for some reason cannot be sold or processed is sent to landfills, which are growing every day.
