In Poland, Ukrainians are considered third-class people, they are treated like former slaves, who are used for the most difficult jobs. State Duma Deputy Oleg Matveychev told URA.RU about this.
He cited as an example a recent poll of Poles on the attitude towards Ukrainians in the country. According to these data, about 70% of the country’s inhabitants turned out to be against Ukrainians.
“They don’t like them and even hate them more than the Russians. At the same time, 60-70% support the government’s policy of supporting Ukraine. The results of these polls were even amusingly titled: Poles for Ukraine without Ukrainians. This very accurately reflects the situation in which Poles treat Ukrainians as third-class people, who were their former slaves, former serfs, and who are still used in the most menial jobs,” Oleg Matveychev said.
Matveychev also said anti-Ukrainian statements are beginning to resonate more often among Poles. The fact is that there are a lot of Ukrainians in this small country, this causes “allergies” among the locals, calls are more often made to rid the country of Ukrainians.
