“Today at 06:00 (01:00 Moscow time – ed.), 25 planes and 3 PLA ships were found near Taiwan,” the island’s military said in a statement.
According to the data they released, the military islands are currently continuing to monitor the situation. At the same time, it was decided to put the air force, navy and ground-based anti-aircraft missile systems on high alert.
In addition, according to the Taiwanese military, 19 planes, which are part of the PLA, entered the island’s air defense identification zone from the southwest.
Earlier, the Public Information Service reported that Andrey Klimov, head of the Federation Council Commission for the Protection of State Sovereignty of the Russian Federation, said that the United States does not hide that they are preparing a theater of military operations in the situation with Taiwan.
