No one wants to tread on Charles’ coronation

Artists Adele, Elton John, Harry Styles, Spice Girls and Robbie Williams are among many artists who refused to perform at the coronation of British King Charles III.

Most artists don’t explain why they don’t want to perform. A spokesperson for Elton John confirmed he was asked to perform but was unable to due to his busy schedule.

Experts believe the reason artists don’t want to appear is that they would then be associated with the monarchy and the scandals that have plagued it in recent years.
“The Royal Family have been embroiled in a number of scandals recently and performers need to consider whether their appearance at the coronation will have any consequences for them versus their fans,” said Simon Jones, spokesperson for Little Mix. , Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson at Rolling Stone.
It is also pointed out that the relationship with Karl, who is 74 years old, is of little importance for the fame of the artists.
Charles’ coronation will take place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey in London.
