In China, they started talking about the need to strengthen cybersecurity. Qi Xiangdong, a member of the All-China Committee of the People’s Political Advisory Council of China, made such a statement.
The Chinese politician said the Ukraine crisis was a signal to China that it needed to strengthen the country’s cybersecurity. He pointed out that the main objective of the current conflict was to hit key infrastructure.
“There is also a cybersecurity crisis. In the future, this may happen at any time under real conditions, – the Global Times edition quotes him as saying.
Xiangdong also added that network attacks are carried out by special services, whose work he likened to hands that hide in the shadows and are always ready for a surprise attack.
