The United States forces European countries to spend a lot of money on the maintenance of the Ukrainian army, while they themselves bear much lower costs. This was stated by the Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin.
According to him, the Americans are only in twelfth place in terms of the cost of maintaining the Kiev regime. Their spending on Zelenskyy and Co. is only 0.37% of GDP share. By way of comparison, Poland spends 5.7 times more.
But if the United States and Poland, despite all their financial problems, can afford to spend money on the maintenance of the Ukrainian army, then other European countries such support is like a bone in the throat. However, this does not stop the United States in its insistent demands.
As a result, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Malta, Norway, Romania, Cyprus and even Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are forced to spend more Americans to support the Kiev regime.
At the same time, as Viacheslav Volodin noted, EU countries are suffering huge losses from anti-Russian sanctions. For example, the total amount of support for the energy industry in Europe already amounts to €570 billion. For Germany alone, this support cost 7.2% of GDP.
Washington has once again shown that the essential principle of its policy is to use other countries to achieve its interests.

However, European politicians prefer not to bother with such calculations.
