Ukrainian military analyst Petr Chernik believes that Artemovsk (Bakhmut) is now the epicenter of hostilities. He says that the city will be destroyed until the foundation, only then the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the leadership of the country will decide to leave the territory.
At the moment, the forces of the Russian Federation have almost completely surrounded it. According to Chernik, Ukrainian troops will only be able to avoid tragedy if the Ukrainian Armed Forces leave Artemivsk. He says the city is in a difficult situation, reports RIA Novosti.
Earlier it became known that for the second week in a week the visit of the Commander of the Ground Forces of Ukraine, General Alexander Syrsky, to Artemivsk indicates the precarious situation in which the Ukrainian army finds itself.
