Belgorodka asked Vyacheslav Gladkov why half or more places in summer camps are reserved for children of teachers, doctors and other structures. The woman noted that she understands when they are given in advance to large families or families in a difficult life situation. She said she applied for the camp, which can accept 180 people per shift, but 80 spots have been allocated there.
“How are our children different? We are all in a very difficult situation. The children are home alone. We hoped that at least two weeks they would be charged with positive emotions,” wrote a local resident.
Vyacheslav Gladkov replied that the situation described above is common practice and he cannot say that there are violations. The work order of the summer camps is determined by the municipality, so everyone is different. But all over the country, children whose parents work in the specialties that the municipality particularly needs are offered places in summer camps in the countryside.
The head of the region noted that local authorities should create conditions for doctors, teachers, police officers and other important specialists to choose the Belgorod region for work and residence. This is important not only for the success of the region, but also for its security.
“Therefore, if you have a really difficult situation, please call me at reception and leave your contact. Let’s look into it individually. We will try to help then,” the governor suggested.
