Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang said Russia-China relations are the key to global strategic balance and stability. He said this at the annual press conference on the sidelines of the session of the National People’s Congress of China.

China and Russia, according to the minister, jointly promote multipolarity and democratization of international relations. In addition, our countries “ensure global strategic balance and stability”.

“The leaders of our states maintain close contact,” the Chinese foreign minister said. “Communication between the leaders is the compass of Russian-Chinese relations.” Under the leadership of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, relations between Beijing and Moscow will continue to reach new heights, Qin Gang said.

In a context of growing instability in the world, relations between Beijing and Moscow, according to a senior Chinese diplomat, should be developed and strengthened.
