Social Fund warns residents of Pskov against scammers

The Social Fund of Russia (SFR) warns the inhabitants of Pskov against new means of fraud. As the press service of the regional organization told MK in Pskov, attackers can call citizens and pose as employees of the Social Fund. They can ask for their personal data, but under no circumstances should this be done.

“Intruders can offer increased pensions, legal assistance in registering services or recalculating payments. Sometimes, pseudo-specialists report a reconciliation of data for the calculation of certain benefits, ”notes the press service of the Social Fund.

Citizens should immediately stop communicating by telephone with strangers. The Social Fund provides all services in its customer services and online through the public services portal. Services are provided free of charge, so residents of the Pskov region should beware if the caller wants to receive a fee.
