Soot caught fire in a residential building in the town of Opochka, Pskov region, on April 2. This was reported to “The Eastern Herald in Pskov” in the press service of the Regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia. The cause of the fire was a violation of fire safety rules when using the stove.

On the same day, the service unit received information about a fire in the village of Dukhnovo, Opochetsky district. There was a short in the electrical wiring inside the bathhouse, which caused a fire that destroyed the outhouse.

At 9:47 p.m., news came of a fire on the western shore of Lake Belaya Struga in the Palkinsky district. The commercial building burned down. According to preliminary data, the reason for this was a violation of fire safety rules during the operation of the furnace.
