In Novomoskovsk, a 19-year-old crook from the Ryazan region was arrested

In Novomoskovsk, two pensioners living on the same street fell victim to scammers. The women received phone calls informing them that their relatives were responsible for the accident. Traditionally, scammers convinced victims that they needed money to “fix” the problem.

So, two pensioners gave the attackers 500 and 160 thousand rubles each.

On this fact, law enforcement officers conducted operational activities and identified the person involved in the fraud.

It turned out to be a 19-year-old resident of the Ryazan region.

According to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Tula region, a criminal case has been opened and is being investigated under Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for fraud.
