Hildur has an extremely beautiful and personal home and is smarter than most when it comes to entertaining designs. Hild is incredibly talented in many areas and exceptionally imaginative. His house bears strong signs of this.
Hildur and her husband Hreiðar Levý Guðmundsson, a former national handball player and real estate agent, have built a beautiful house for themselves and their three daughters and son in Hvassaleitin. Hildi thinks it’s very important that the house is child-friendly and that the girls can have fun.
“It’s never been so pleasant for me, it’s only because I expected you to visit me,” Hildur says when she welcomes Sjöfn into her home. The house is well planned, with utility and aesthetics at the forefront. “I let my little girls hang out in the kitchen with me, and we painted this little kitchen cabinet in the style of our kitchen cabinets.”
Almost every item in Hilda’s home has a story and a place. Hildur mixes a lot of old and new, and family matters are close to her heart. “It’s so nostalgic to have things like Grandma’s polar bear, and I love polar bears,” Hildur says, looking at the items on the shelves in the living room.
