Kaliningrad is preparing to select a public space for improvement in 2024. Read more about the projects under consideration in the material “MK in Kaliningrad”.
The draft resolution has been published on the website of the municipal administration. Thus, the vote will take place from April 15 to May 31. You can make a choice on the federal website za.gorodsreda.ru. After summarizing the results, we will know which public space will be developed as part of the program to create a comfortable urban environment.
For selection, local residents received a list of 70 Kaliningrad territories. Among them: boulevards, children’s playgrounds, forest parks, embankments, parks, squares, sports fields and more. More information can be found on the town hall website.
Last year, significantly fewer territories were offered for voting – 35. Based on the results of the survey, it was decided to improve the Max Aschmann Park. The top three also included: a square on Flotskaya Street and Gagarin Park.
As of last month, the project was still in the review stage. It includes improvement of the promenade area from Malaya Lesnaya Street to Parkovaya Alley, paving of the pond area, paving with cobblestones and installation of lighting. Once the project is approved, the authorities will issue calls for tenders to select a contractor.
It should be noted that due to mandatory voting, one may receive federal co-funding for the improvement.
