Fire and rescue units of EMERCOM of Russia were involved seven times to eliminate the incineration of household waste in the Kaliningrad region. The response was quick and there were no casualties. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia for the Kaliningrad region.
To put out the fire, firefighters from several fire and rescue units made up of thirty-two people and seven equipment intervened.
In addition, during the day, six explosive objects from the Great Patriotic War were discovered and destroyed in the region.
