The Ministry of Digital Development is considering the possibility of expanding the requirements put forward by smartphone manufacturers. The agency plans to force companies to install Russian digital distribution store RuStore on Android devices. The application will need to be deeply integrated into the system, writes Kommersant.
Deep integration of the RuStore app involves offers to complete registration upon device activation. According to experts, the initiative could harm the domestic smartphone market, which is currently going through difficult times.
As part of the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, the technology for integrating the store into the device is indicated. It should be displayed to the user when the smartphone is activated. Requirements for running the app in the background and sending push notifications are also specified. The question of support for payment systems is also indicated.
At the end of 2022, the iPhone 7 became the most popular among refurbished smartphones. Its cost is the lowest in the Apple range on the secondary market. The top five includes two other models from Apple – iPhone 8 and iPhone XR. The second and third rows were taken by Samsung Galaxy A10 and Xiaomi Redmi 9A.
Most often, flagship models of a high price category are purchased in the secondary market, but there are exceptions – for example, the 10 most popular devices in 2022 included the Huawei Y5p smartphone worth less than 10 000 rubles.
