The Kandalaksha team won 13 medals at competitions in the Irkutsk region

All-Russian luge competitions ended in the Irkutsk region. Arctic participants proved themselves worthy and won 13 medals at once.

At competitions, the honor of the Murmansk region was defended by athletes of the Kandalaksha school. Juniors and juniors aged 18-20 received two gold medals at a time for the single-seater luge races. In double trips, northerners of the same age group won “gold” and “silver”.

The three prize-winning places were taken by young men aged 15 to 17 in the one-place sled competitions, and the middle group from Kandalaksha won the two “gold” medals in the two-place competitions.

According to the press service of the government of the Murmansk region, the youngest group aged 12 to 14 won three places in the boys’ and girls’ categories.

Earlier, MK in Murmansk said that the world champions of various sports will come to the April ski marathon in the Murmansk region.
