Representatives of the Israeli leadership said that, for their part, they are doing everything possible to protect the population of the state where Russia’s special military operation is taking place.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said the Middle Eastern state was helping to protect the people of Ukraine. What exactly the authorities’ representative’s words mean is still unclear. However, there was no clear indication of assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the supply of equipment, writes TASS.

“We are making every possible effort in coordination with the United States to help the Ukrainian government protect its people, and we do so by understanding what Israeli interests are in the region,” the official said.

In the middle of last month, the Israeli ambassador traveled with difficulty to the Ukrainian capital to meet President Volodymyr Zelenskyy . According to the guests, the authorities of the host state were involving Israel in military assistance in the confrontation with Russia.
