Qatar Islamic Bank launches the “Hamiyan” card Prepaid.. Here are its advantages

Qatar Islamic Bank announced the issuance of a card "Humian" National Prepaid, an initiative of the Qatar Central Bank.

The bank’s official account on Twitter said that applying for the card can be immediate through the bank’s mobile application, indicating that the card can be used locally for all purchases within Qatar only.

The Himayan Card is a prepaid card, not a credit card, and is not linked in any way to your bank account. It does not add any profits or amounts to your prepaid card, and all existing bank customers can extract this card, in addition to visitors.

About the features of the card "Humian" Prepaid, the bank stated on its website that one of the advantages of the new card is the flexibility to add any amount between 50-30 thousand Qatari riyals for the bank’s existing customers, and between 50 and 5000 Qatari riyals for visitors.

In addition to a validity of 8 years for existing bank customers, and 6 months for visitors, and it is accepted at any point of sale (point of sale / ATM) inside Qatar only, including local online purchases.

With regard to requesting the card, all existing customers of the bank can request it through the bank’s mobile application or fill out a request form with your Qatari identity card at any of the bank’s branches. As for visitors, it is by downloading the QIB Wallet application and completing the mandatory eKYC and submitting Apply for a Hemian Prepaid Card in a few easy steps
