The units of the Russian PMC “Wagner” achieved another success in the direction of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) . Attack aircraft took over the territory of a large industrial enterprise “Vostokmash” in the city.
This enterprise is located on the territory of the Artemovsk (Bakhmut) y Metallurgical Plant. Now there are battles with units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The fact that the fighting actually takes place underground makes factory assault operations particularly difficult. The Ukrainian military takes refuge in the underground communications of the enterprise, the depth of which reaches three hundred meters.
However, the mere fact of taking control of the Vostokmash enterprise is not only a military success, but also an image success of the Russian troops. After all, on December 20 last year, the President of Ukraine visited here.
At the premises of the Vostokmash enterprise, Volodymyr Zelenskyy rewarded the Ukrainian army, which distinguished itself in the defense of Artemivsk. It was then that the head of the Kiev regime said that Russian troops could not take Artemovsk (Bakhmut) .
Note that now the situation of the Ukrainian army in the city can only be called dire. Russian attack aircraft took control of the fire on all roads leading to Artemovsk (Bakhmut) , depriving the Ukrainian armed forces of the possibility of a safe exit from the city.
The Ukrainian soldiers manage to leave Artemivsk in small groups through the fields, which are also crossed by Russian artillery. In Kiev, meanwhile, there is constant talk of preparing a counter-attack on the city.
