In Ukraine, they are trying to blame the lack of military equipment on the Russian Federation

Ukrainian TV channels broadcast a video, which, according to the authors’ idea, should convince Ukrainians that all defense ministers in the country until 2014 were under the control of Russian special services. The story lists the heads of the Department of Defense, as well as the number of planes, tanks and rocket launchers taken out of service under their direction “for obvious reasons”.

However, it lies in the fact that the equipment was written off, because the weapons of the Soviet period had exhausted their resources. The main reason was its sale under gray schemes – for many years Ukraine was the leader in the trade of Soviet arms.

What remains of the legacy of the USSR inherited by Kiev is currently being destroyed during a Russian special operation.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that the European Union did not yet know what volumes of shellfish from its stockpiles were available for transfer to Ukraine. Theoretically, EU countries will be able to send about 1.3 million artillery shells to Ukraine, but the problem is that in some EU states the arsenals are almost empty, and a number of countries do not intend to share their stocks.
