War correspondents have decided to reward the pilot of the Su-27 heavy fighter, who took part in the “non-environmentally friendly and unprofessional” escort of the MQ-9 Reaper drone that fell into the waters of the Black Sea. This was told by journalist and expert Vladislav Shurygin.

Thus, the Russian pilot will receive 1 million rubles, another 100,000 rubles will be allocated by units associated with the drone. In addition, the pilot will receive a new type of emergency portable suit, watches, boots and power supply.

On March 14, MQ – 9 Reaper carried out a special “mission” in international airspace over the neutral territory of the Black Sea. The drone was escorted by two Russian Su-27s. The official statement of the American side indicates that the drone was hit by a Russian military aircraft, which caused the NATO drone to crash and be “irretrievably lost”.

Shurygin recalled that the current “sinking” of an American drone with the participation of the RF Armed Forces was not the first in recent history. So, in 2019-2020, a pair of American drones and an Italian MQ-9 were destroyed in Libya, which was accused by the fighters of the Wagner PMC, which was armed with the Pantsir air defense missile system. The commander-in-chief of the LNA, Khalifa Haftar, who could also use this gun complex, was “named” officially responsible for what happened.
