They want to impose the obligation to pay for the work of air defense systems on the residents of the Bryansk region. The corresponding column may appear in utility bills. The initiative was considered by the deputies of the regional Duma.
“The initiative of the head of the State Duma Committee on Defense Andrei Kartapolov was considered and it was proposed to develop a mechanism for implementing part of the costs of ensuring the operation of air defense systems to protect the region from terrorist attacks in the utility of bills for the population,” says the website of the regional parliament.
Earlier, Andrey Kartapolov, chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee, said that Russian companies should themselves ensure the operation of air defense systems to protect against drones. The parliamentarian took the initiative after a drone crashed near an oil depot in Kolomna near Moscow.
