Operating Umrah trips by air and land throughout the holy month
The increase in Umrah prices is due to the increase in hotel prices in Saudi Arabia
Umrah prices range between 2200-2400 riyals by land and 4500-7000 riyals by air.
A number of Umrah campaign owners confirmed their readiness for the holy month of Ramadan by providing many Umrah trips during the holy month with different budgets that satisfy all classes, and they confirmed that trips are available on a weekly basis by land and air as well, and the turnout is heavy since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, especially during the current school vacation. They told Al-Sharq that the prices of Umrah trips during the month of Ramadan, although they are somewhat higher than the prices of trips in the rest of the year, due to the increase in hotel prices in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the months of Shaaban and Ramadan, but they are suitable for all budgets. Regarding the prices of Umrah trips during the holy month, they confirmed that the prices of Umrah trips by land in the first twenty days of Ramadan range between 2200 and 2400 riyals, while they exceed 3000 riyals in the last ten days. to 7000 riyals or more.
Ahmed Al-Mulla: Prices include visa, accommodation and transportation
Ahmed Yousef Al-Mulla, owner of a good campaign for Hajj and Umrah, said, “We started preparing for Umrah trips during the month of Ramadan, and we provided four trips for Umrah by land and 4 trips by air, as we allocated 3 land trips during the first twenty days of Ramadan at a price of 2300 riyals, including Mecca.†And Medina for 10 days. As for the last ten days of the holy month, we allocated one trip for a period of 12 days in Makkah only, starting from the 20th of Ramadan until the second day of Eid. The fifth of Ramadan and the second program starts on the 10th of Ramadan with 4,600 riyals. As for the last ten days, we allocated two programs, the first from the 20th of Ramadan until the 25th of Ramadan, and a program from the 25th of Ramadan until the second day of Eid, and its price is within the limits of 5500 riyals. Regarding hotels, he said that they are of the category 3 and 4 stars, but during the month of Ramadan, hotels will be a little far from the Haram due to pressure and the high prices of nearby hotels to a great extent during the month of Ramadan.
And he continued all the programs that include the visa, transportation, and housing. As for people who hold a tourist visa to Saudi Arabia, we deduct its value, which is 600 riyals, from the price of the program. Usually, all programs include visits in Makkah and Madinah, but due to the pressure currently in Saudi Arabia, most of the visits were stopped, and there was a turnout. It is too big for Umrah during the month of Sha’ban, and we expect that the turnout will continue until the end of Ramadan, first because everyone is thirsty to go to Umrah, especially in these blessed days, and secondly because there are many good people who send a group of people to Umrah as a form of charity.
Nasser Al-Sulaiti: Increased turnout due to school holidays
Nasser Jassim Al-Sulaiti, owner of the Ansar Campaign for Hajj and Umrah, said that there is a great demand for Umrah during the month of Sha’ban and the turnout will continue until the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, as they provided 3 trips by land during the month of Ramadan at an average of every 10 days. It ranges between 2200 to 2400 riyals, according to hotels whose prices have risen sharply since the month of Sha’ban, which forces us to book hotels far from the Haram in order to provide an economic program that is in line with most possibilities. As for flights, they depend on ticket prices, as we provide two trips in the last ten days each. It is a 5-day trip, but its cost is higher. As for the turnout, it is good, but it is always related to the holidays, as the turnout was very high during the last school holidays, especially for families. As for the month of Ramadan, there are no holidays, so we expect a turnout from people who can only get vacations And not from everyone.
Mohammed Al-Hammadi: Umrah is available for all ages
Muhammad Youssef Al-Hammadi, the owner of the Al-Hammadi campaign for Hajj and Umrah, said that the Umrah procedures are very easy and anyone can obtain the visa immediately after applying one day, and there are no difficult conditions as obtaining the Umrah visa requires presenting a copy of the residence card in Qatar and a copy of the passport And a personal photo, and Umrah is available to all ages without exception, and trips are available, whether by land or air, as we provide three Umrah programs by land during the holy month, two programs in the first twenty days of 10 days at 2200 riyals, and a program in the last ten days of duration 12 days at a price of 3000, the price includes the visa, transportation, and housing in Makkah and Madinah.
And he continued, “Usually, we always choose hotels close to the Haram, but during the month of Ramadan, hotels will be far away because nearby hotels have high prices, and this will cause an increase in the price of the trip. Therefore, we chose to move away in order to maintain an economic price that suits the residents’ budget, because they accept a lot on trips by land, but the citizens They prefer to go to Umrah by air or in their own cars.
Hatem Al-Mansoori: Providing a road trip every Wednesday
Hatem Al-Mansoori, owner of the Hatem Hajj and Umrah Campaign, said, “We provide every Wednesday a road trip to Umrah, and we will continue to work in the same order during the month of Ramadan, and there will be no change. Because it is considered an economic trip. As for those who want to go by air, we also provide flights, but their cost is more and their duration is less, ranging between 4 and 5 days, and their price in the month of Ramadan reaches 7000 riyals and more. He also confirmed that the prices of the last ten days of Ramadan are higher than Prices for the first twenty days, and they started registering reservations from now to guarantee a place for the pilgrim pilgrimage due to overcrowding in the month of Ramadan, especially in the last ten days.
