The military commissariats of the Republic of Mari El have started issuing subpoenas to local residents who are in the reserve to clarify information about their military registration specialties (VUS) and streamline documents. The relevant information was confirmed by the press service of the government of the region, reports “MK”.
The message also states that for called citizens, a job with the payment of an average salary is preserved, and all financial payments will be made in accordance with the military rank and position.
We add that earlier the authorities of the Voronezh, Lipetsk and Penza regions, as well as the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug and the Yaroslavl region, also announced the distribution of subpoenas to clarify information about persons liable to military service. Mari El became the sixth region of the Russian Federation in which the authorities officially announced the holding of these events.
Earlier, Pavel Chikov, director of the Agora law firm, announced on his Telegram channel that subpoenas were being distributed to residents of 33 regions of the Russian Federation. The military commissariats explain that the purpose of the events is to clarify the data. Officially, the chiefs of only a few regions have announced the distribution of subpoenas.
