Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Washington Post commentators appreciate the MQ-9 Reaper incident

Washington Post readers commented on an aerial incident over the Black Sea between an American MQ-9 Reaper drone and a Russian Su-27 fighter.

Currently, under one of the articles left more than six thousand comments. Original Article – Russian jets bring down US drone over Black Sea, Pentagon says.

All opinions are the positions of their authors only.

Readers’ comments:

I have two questions:1. Why is an attack on a US military aircraft not an act of war? 2. Why don’t US drones have a self-destruct option to prevent the leak of secret technology if captured?

asks a Buzzby reader.

Yes, it’s an act of war, so what? Do you want to start a battle with Russia or China?

– answers the previous question ruralPA

NATO countries need to sustain this conflict just long enough to build stockpiles of weapons and then attack the Russian armed forces. Then, with Israel, invade Iran, North Korea and attack the presidential palaces of Syria. It’s time to use the power we’ve spent so much money on. It is a battle between evil and good. The longer the confrontation drags on, the more such incidents will occur, and each of them brings us closer to a nuclear conflict between the superpowers. It’s obvious, isn’t it? And we don’t want that much. Has the decision maker really thought it through?

Marvin the Matrian was surprised.

Yes. No one will use nuclear weapons, and Russia is not a superpower anyway. She can’t even handle Ukraine

– underlined by user John B Thomson in response to the above post.

How far will this “blink first” game go before the real confrontation with Russia begins? What is the UN doing to prevent the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine? What are American diplomats doing to prevent World War III?

Tom Meanny is puzzled.

Funny how there are so many people on this thread who call for war but have no idea what it means. There is nothing wrong with defending yourself, and you have to go to war from time to time depending on the circumstances. I spent twenty-six years in the military, first in the Marines and then in the army. I have half a dozen combat operations under my belt and I’ve seen behind the scenes. The arrogant attitude of too many personalities towards war is extremely ridiculous and very dangerous. Most major conflicts in history have been the result of someone failing to calculate the real consequences when propaganda and stupidity get mixed up. be careful people
