The All-Russian scandal associated with the strike of the owners of the Wildberries order points, who did not want to pay the full cost of the goods that customers did not redeem, exposed the problem of the markets – they were occupied by counterfeit dealers. By trading on the web, they make their life easier, but the St. Petersburg Apraksin shipyard has long become a haven for such businessmen in reality.

Recall that Wildberries does not want to bear the cost of unclaimed property. There are more and more cases when a buyer who chose a product only by beautiful images on the screen of his smartphone, after seeing it live, is disappointed with the quality and refuses to buy. Often when an order is returned to the warehouse it is found to be either damaged or replaced with a counterfeit. The market has decided that in such difficult situations, it is the owners of pick-up points who should compensate for the losses out of their own pockets. Those of such a “pleasant” bounty were horrified and prepared for a strike. As a result, the scandal has been covered up, but it is clear that this is a temporary solution to a problem that cannot be constantly covered up. Among the sellers of branded items on Wildberries, you can also meet counterfeit dealers, who at one time felt good selling consumer goods in the same Cherkizovsky market. Moscow authorities managed to disperse the seemingly immortal platform. Now his supporters have even more favorable conditions for business. At Cherkizon, a customer could immediately file a complaint when they saw a poor quality seam or a fabric that was smearing. After arguing, such a buyer simply did not open his wallet. Today, commerce has moved to the Internet, and it is impossible to detect a wedding just by looking at pictures. But whether it will be possible to return the funds after the client is already at home convinced of the poor quality, and whether he wants to get involved in this mess is a big question. And dishonest sellers take advantage of this.

“Marketplaces are huge dumps of goods, modern Cherkizons,” says Olga Ignatova, journalist at Rossiyskaya Gazeta. – Until you have seen with your own eyes, you will not understand what is being slipped to you in reality. The problem is not with returns and substitutions, but with a large number of counterfeits and poor quality products that cunning manufacturers and dealers try to sell via the Internet. That, already the Old Testament, “Cherkizon” has been closed, but the fake “Chanel” still wants to be sold at exorbitant prices and is looking for a counter for this.

On the other hand, only the Cherkizovsky market was closed, and how many of them still remain in the country?! And the flow of buyers does not stop. The crowded rows of Apraksin Dvor in St. Petersburg are direct proof of this. One of the oldest markets in the city and looking all its age – it was built in the 19th century. It is not for nothing that an entire block of historic buildings belongs to cultural heritage sites. The houses there seem far from safe, but all the city authorities can do is wrap green netting around the rickety walls so the bricks and plaster don’t fall directly on your head. visitors. And in such appalling conditions there is a trade in the most diverse products without public holidays. Alongside unknown sneaker manufacturers, there are mountains of designer shoes that, you just have to dig deeper, have nothing to do with the original. They sell counterfeits of everything: shoes, bags, perfumes, cigarettes. And such violations are not limited here. As a result, Apraksin Dvor entered the criminal chronicle hundreds of times last year. In theory, if the dilapidated district were restored, it would be possible to put it back in order. Moreover, investors were ready to participate in such an expensive project. But the lack of steps on the side of the city authorities on any initiative has put a big cross.

The fact is that a large number of premises that make up Apraksin Dvor are owned by various people. And although the city owns most of them, no one has yet been able to obtain the consent of all participants in the restoration process.

The latest to try to change the situation was the developer GloraX, which last summer signed an agreement with Smolny, according to which it planned to invest 50 billion rubles in the restoration of the historical object. But even such huge funds did not induce the city authorities to lend a hand to business and impose political will on the many owners of Aprashki real estate. At the end of the winter, the company got tired of negotiating and froze the reconstruction.

“A complex implementation scheme and the listed nuances do not yet allow us to make a final decision on whether the project is worthwhile for us,” said Alexander Andrianov, co-owner of the company.

Such a decision was applauded only by the countless criminal market vendors in the city itself. After all, while Apraksin Dvor continues to be in ruins, counterfeit sales will only flourish here.
