The State of Qatar has obtained accreditation for the issuance of information security certificates for electronic devices and software, and this took place during the first conference of the International Common Standards Agreement (CCRA) for the year 2023 in Malaysia.

The State of Qatar joined the International Common Standards Agreement (CCRA) in 2015 as a consuming Member for certificates issued by accredited members within the organization as an Authorizing Member, in the framework of enhancing security and prior readiness to confront cyber risks in vital sectors in Qatar. The country, where the State of Qatar has worked since the signing of the agreement to fulfill all the conditions stipulated in the agreement to join the group of accredited countries as a country issuing internationally recognized certificates.
It is worth noting that the Common Criteria (CC) is a set of international guidelines and specifications that define a framework through which the information security of electronic devices and software can be evaluated and approved through an official declaration that certifies that the product meets and conforms to the requirements of standards (ISO / IEC 15408).
