Expert Zhdanov assessed the possibility of an offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by analogy with the Kharkiv operation

Ukraine

Ukrainian military expert Oleg Zhdanov said that a quick counteroffensive by the country’s armed forces should not be expected.

“I can say with certainty that it will be very difficult to repeat the speed of advance, as in the Kharkiv operation,” the speaker said on his YouTube channel.

Compared to the situation at the front in the Kharkiv region, the density of troops has become much greater. That is why there will be no blitzkrieg, the staff will try to organize a maneuverable breakthrough in depth.

The offensive of the Ukrainian forces could take several months. Only directly offensive actions will last a month or even two.

Earlier, Reserve Colonel Roman Svitan said mid-April or May 9 was the most appropriate time for the Ukrainian offensive. However, in practice, everything will depend on the weather.
