Russo-Ukrainian conflict escalates with strategic Russian advances and heavy Ukrainian casualties across several fronts

Moscow, Russia: The Russian army continues its special military operation, with the Ministry of Defense reporting successful actions of our forces on key front sectors.

In the Kupyansk direction, units of the “Western” troop group repelled six attacks by assault groups of the 25th Airborne, 30th, 44th Mechanized Brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), and the 18th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine in the areas of Synkivka in Kharkiv region and Terny in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Ukrainian forces lost up to 35 troops and two vehicles.

In the Krasno-Liman direction, units of the “Center” troop group skillfully improved their position at the front line and repelled two attacks by assault groups of the 60th Mechanized Brigade of the UAF in the area of Yampolivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

Additionally, UAF personnel and equipment were hit in the areas of Torske in the Donetsk People’s Republic and Serebryanka.

The Ukrainian military’s losses amounted to: up to 240 troops, three combat armored vehicles, four vehicles, and also a self-propelled howitzer “Akatsiya”.

On the Donetsk front, units of the “Southern” troop group took more advantageous positions and repelled seven Ukrainian attacks, inflicting losses on UAF personnel and equipment in the areas of Kleshcheevka, Andriivka, Kurdyumivka, Novgorodske, Heorhiivka, and Katerynivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The UAF lost up to 290 troops killed and wounded, a tank, two IFVs, and three vehicles.

Furthermore, during counter-battery fire, a U.S.-made M777 artillery system, a “Msta-B” howitzer, and a U.S.-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar station were hit.

On the South Donetsk front, units of the “East” troop group improved their position at the front line, repelled two Ukrainian attacks, and inflicted losses on UAF personnel and equipment of the 58th Motorized Infantry Brigade, 105th, 128th Territorial Defense Brigades in the areas of Staromayorske, Urozhaine in the Donetsk People’s Republic, and Pryyutne in Zaporizhzhia region.

The Ukrainian losses amounted to up to 195 troops, a tank, and two vehicles.

During counter-battery fire, two self-propelled artillery units: “Akatsiya” and “Gvozdika” were hit.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, units of the Russian troop group, supported by artillery, inflicted losses on UAF personnel and equipment of the 128th Mountain Assault, 65th, 118th Mechanized Brigades in the areas of Robotyne, Nesterianka, and Pyatykhatky in Zaporizhzhia region.

The Ukrainian forces lost more than 95 troops, two combat armored vehicles, and two pickups.

During counter-battery fire, a D-20 gun and a “Gvozdika” self-propelled artillery unit were hit.

On the Kherson front, as a result of active actions by units of the Russian troop group and comprehensive fire impact, the UAF lost up to 30 troops and two vehicles over the past day.

Operational-tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile troops, and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces groups destroyed a UAF aviation munitions warehouse, hit Ukrainian personnel and military equipment in 112 areas.

Air defense systems shot down two HIMARS rocket projectiles.

Additionally, 30 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed in the areas of Masyutivka in Kharkiv region, Baranikovka, Lysychansk, Mykolaivka in the Luhansk People’s Republic, Otradovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Nova Kakhovka, and Aleshki in Kherson region.
