Beijing issued an official statement after Xi Jinping’s visit to Moscow

As Chinese leader Xi Jinping returns to Beijing, the Chinese Foreign Ministry issued an official statement. Foreign Minister Wang Wenbin urged the United States to stop adding fuel to the fire and reconsider its position towards Ukraine and China.

China has always called for reconciliation and negotiations. The United States says China’s position cannot be called fair. Is it right to permanently provide weapons on the battlefield? Is it right to continually escalate the conflict? Is it really right to let the crisis engulf the whole world? We recommend that the US side reconsider its own role in the Ukraine issue, turn away from the wrong path of pouring oil on the flames, and stop blaming China.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry said in an official statement.

On the eve of the visit of the Chinese leader to Moscow, the United States did everything to disrupt the visit of the President of the PRC and to weaken the allied relations between Russia and China. But in reality, they managed to achieve a diametrically opposite effect. On the major issues on the global agenda, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping have largely the same opinions, but they go against American demands. The United States and Kiev have rejected the peace plan and any possibility of a truce and continue their course to escalate the conflict.

They did not condemn this invasion. President Xi has seen fit to come to Moscow. But he never spoke with President Zelenskyy , did not visit Kiev
