A passenger on the commuter train described the moment of the accident. Recall that today in Sakhalin the train collided with a truck at a level crossing.
According to traffic police, the driver of the dump truck drove to the crossing, despite the red light.
The train passenger explained that he was listening to music with headphones at the time of the accident, so he did not immediately understand what had happened.
“I was wearing headphones. The blow was strong, yes,” Igor said in an interview with 360.
According to him, a woman in a nearby car was injured, she hit the seat of the first car. After the collision of the train and the dump truck, all the passengers got out.
“The taxi was lying in the street, two wheels were dragging and the body was lying where the trains were. Something else was burning there, the firefighters arrived,” he shared his memories.
According to the latest information, two people were injured in the incident. In particular, the truck driver was taken to hospital.
