In Kaliningrad, on Kashtanovaya Alley, gates were installed according to old sketches

In Kaliningrad, on Kashtanovaya Alley, new doors were installed in renovated houses. All were made to order and taking into account the architectural characteristics of each building.

The renovated facades of the houses in Chestnut Alley were decorated with new door leaves, the sketches of which were created from historical catalogs. This, according to the architects, will help recreate the ethos of every house and street in the city. This is reported by the information portal about the activities of the Capital Repair Fund of the Kaliningrad region.

“We use this practice if the historic gates have been lost,” read. .

Remember that this approach has become possible since 2020 thanks to the instructions of the regional manager.

Earlier, “The Eastern Heraldin Kaliningrad” reported that the FKR in Kaliningrad has listed the houses in which repair work is planned.
