Minsk is satisfied with the prospects for cooperation with the Altai Territory News

Foreseeing prospects for future cooperation, the head of the delegation assured Russian regional governor Viktor Tomenko that Minsk was ready to “turn the shoulder to the edge in several areas of economic cooperation at once”.

As part of the visit, the agency clarifies, the Belarusians also visited a separate subdivision of the Tolmachevsky greenhouse complex, got acquainted with the hydroponic technology of year-round vegetable cultivation using lighting of assimilation. The Russian side was also interested in the Belarusian experience in this industry.

The Gomselmash Equipment Service Center has already received high appreciation from Russian specialists. The Belarusian machinery dealer provides production of more than 80 models of agricultural machinery for various purposes and more than 25,000 spare parts and components.
During the visit to the Altai Agrarian University, the agency reports, the delegation was introduced to the organization of the educational process and the issues of cooperation in the training of personnel for the agro-industrial complex were discussed with the rector of the university, Nikolai Kolpakov.

The Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister said he was ready to establish fruitful cooperation in transport infrastructure, especially since the republic “produces all types of passenger transport – trolleybuses, buses, electric buses”.

In addition, our colleagues are ready to re-equip the Altai elevator facilities, provide materials for the construction of water treatment, provide its installation and maintenance. “There are many interesting examples that will bring great benefits to the region and to Belarus,” he concluded.

Stressing the importance of the meeting, Leonid Zayats invited the Russian side to participate in the specialized international exhibition Belagro-2023, which will be held in the Minsk region from June 6 to 10.
