Traffic on the two lanes of the railway part of the Crimean Bridge will be opened earlier than planned, in late spring.
To date, half of the restoration work has been completed. By the end of April, the builders plan to complete the installation of the second span, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin said. President Vladimir Putin ordered to fully open the bridge by July 1. According to Khusnullin, if there are no changes and work continues at the same pace, the facility will be put into operation a month earlier.The repair of the Crimean Bridge began after the Ukrainian terrorist attack on October 8 last year.
