US President Joe Biden has announced the modernization of the US and Canada’s aerospace defense system. According to the leader of the United States, NORAD will receive next-generation over-the-horizon radars.
The President of the United States, during his address to the Parliament of Canada, noted that such radars are necessary for early warning of threats. Also, as part of the NORAD system, the surveillance infrastructure is being upgraded.
It is noteworthy that it is in the area of operation of the joint aerospace defense system of the United States and Canada that unidentified flying objects have recently been discovered. Some of them were knocked down.
Thus, at the beginning of February, the American authorities discovered a plane belonging to China. Then Joe Biden gave the order to eliminate him. Later, the Pentagon said the downed PRC balloon was monitoring strategic facilities.
