Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

GSA member Rogov announced the failure of the Ukrainian offensive in the Zaporizhzhia region

Russian troops foiled an offensive attempt by the Ukrainian army near the town of Orekhov in the Zaporizhzhia region. This was announced by the chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia”, a member of the main council of the regional administration Vladimir Rogov, reports RIA Novosti.

“The large-scale offensive in the direction of Zaporizhzhia, which the enemy was preparing, was thwarted. Our army launched a massive preemptive strike on exposed enemy positions, hitting personnel locations, as well as ammunition warehouses, military equipment and fuel,” he said.

According to him, it was possible to hit about 25 targets, more than 550 militants of the assault units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine died or were injured. Rogov also said Kiev wants the offensive to coincide with the EU summit held on March 23-24, where the issue of military assistance to Ukraine was discussed. According to him, at the moment the Ukrainian units near Orekhovo cannot go on the attack, because their fighters “dress their wounds, regroup, resupply, calculate the damage and determine the necessary new reserves of armored vehicles”. . At the same time, Rogov stressed that Kiev was unlikely to give up attempts to attack in the Zaporizhzhia region, sending reconnaissance troops in force in order to open the line of defense.
