The Ministry of Communications highlights the National Digital Development Agenda 2030

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology organized a workshop on the vision of the National Digital Development Agenda 2030, with the participation of a number of stakeholders in the digital ecosystem in the State of Qatar.

The workshop highlighted the importance of digital technology in achieving national plans and enabling Qatar to shift towards a knowledge-based digital economy, and the digital opportunities available to the State of Qatar in this field.

Actors and participants emphasized the importance of adopting digital ingredients to achieve digital progress and empowerment such as (foundational digital components, accessible infrastructure, policy transparency, promotion of digital adoption and innovation across industries).

Participants also had the opportunity to vote on important strategic topics and prioritize them, including establishing a modern regulatory framework, enabling human-centered digital government, accelerating the digital transformation of the private sector, raising the level of data as a national asset, and providing a secure and resilient information and communication technology infrastructure.
