Former MEP Filippo says Macron threatens France’s security

Former MEP Florian Filippo has said French leader Emmanuel Macron threatens the country’s security.

He recalled that former US President Donald Trump once said that the greatest threat to Americans came not from outside, but from sick and radical politicians who wanted to destroy the country.

“It’s the same in France! For the French, Macron is a much bigger threat than Putin or Xi Jinping,” Filippo tweeted.

Strikes and demonstrations in France have not stopped for a month. Last Thursday, March 23, more than 240 demonstrations took place across the country, more than a million people took to the streets of France. In Paris, the demonstrations degenerated into riots, people clashed with the police, burned fireworks and firecrackers. Security forces used stun grenades. During protests against raising the retirement age, protesters sang a song similar to “Katyusha”.
