On March 28, Chinese President Xi Jinping had a phone conversation with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Xi Jinping pointed out that China-Saudi Arabia relations are now passing through the best time in history. China and Saudi Arabia stand ready to resolutely support each other on issues of mutual interest and provide practical cooperation and people-to-people exchanges. China-Saudi Arabia all-round strategic partnership is willing to expand to greater development. China will make every effort to build a China-Arab community with a shared future in the new era, and work for peace, stability and development of the Middle East region. Will contribute more.
Xi noted that the joint efforts of China, Saudi Arabia and Iran recently led to the successful holding of the Saudi Arabia-Iran Beijing Dialogue. It is hoped that Saudi Arabia and Iran will continue to improve relations based on the achievements of the Beijing Dialogue. China will continue to support this. Crown Prince Muhammad said that Saudi Arabia thanks the Chinese side for its support to improve Saudi Arabia-Iran relations, which shows China’s role as a responsible big country. Saudi Arabia wants to make common efforts with China to add a new chapter of cooperation.
