In Moscow, a man was arrested who opened fire on a branch of Sberbank in Nemansky Proyezd in northwest Moscow. This was reported in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow.
The department told RTVI that the shooter was a 72-year-old resident of the Strogino neighborhood. According to law enforcement, scammers on the phone told him that through the fault of bank employees his personal data was in the public domain, after which the man went to the office of Nemansky Proyezd ” in order to clarify the circumstances” with an air pistol.
The suspect was arrested and handed over to the police by security officers. Law enforcement is checking. According to preliminary data, the man shot in the air, no one was injured.
Former Baza Telegram Channel informed that the pensioner presented himself at the bank branch at the request of crooks by telephone who would have presented themselves as police officers. The attackers convinced him that bank employees were responsible for leaking his personal data and told him to open fire in the air. The old man was convinced that he would have helped catch the criminals.
