In the State of Mexico near the city of Teotihuacan (Mexico), two people were burned alive in a hot air balloon. Footage of the fire was filmed.
The footage shows how a ball engulfed in flames rises into the air, a person falls from a basket. Screams are heard.
According to El Pais, the victims of the tragedy were a 50-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman. The young girl, who managed to jump, escaped, but suffered serious injuries: first and second degree burns and a fractured right humerus.
The publication notes that such incidents occur from time to time in this area, as hot air ballooning is a frequent pastime here.
