Residents of Kursk will be able to use paid parking after applying blue markings

In the regional center, paid parking lots are almost fully ready for operation. In test mode, they started working from February 1. It was expected that they would start working in a standard format already fully paid from March 1, but that did not happen.

It turned out that the delay is connected with the requirements for marking parking spaces, which were discussed on the eve of the program “Vlast. An open policy,” said the first deputy head of the Kursk administration, Nikolai Tsybin.

“All the technical measures have been taken: video cameras have been connected, equipment has been installed. It remains to apply blue markings,” he said.

Tsybin added that the markup will definitely appear in April, but he did not name a specific date for its application.

Residents of the Territory Capital Nightingale are expected to be notified of the end of the one-month paid parking trial period.
