” They arrived. Finally ! – said director Olga Lepeeva happily, calling the Central Asia office of Rossiyskaya Gazeta. Since our publication has been friends with this educational institution for a long time, the employees of the branch could not but share the joy of the Naryn teachers and invited them to visit our office with their colleagues.
Teachers from the Russian Federation have arrived in Kyrgyzstan as part of the Russian Teacher Abroad project, which aims to promote the Russian language and Russian education abroad. It is implemented by the Center for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation – “Interdom International School named after ED Stasova”.
Teachers came to Naryn from different cities of Russia. Spouses Anna and Ivan Donenko, for example, are from Yevpatoria (Crimea), Galina Zadykhaylo is from the small town of Uray, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra, Albina Agibalova is from Rostov-on-Don, and Elena Volodina is from Moscow. Teachers have already had a lot of vivid impressions from Kyrgyzstan, Naryn and, of course, students and colleagues.
- The first impression is that Naryn has very clean air and especially tasty meat, – shared Albina Agibalova. – I was also struck by the fact that the locals are very hospitable. Imagine, the very first day I had to go to work, I decided to go to school by taxi. As soon as I raised my hand, a car stopped in front of me. The driver took me to the place and didn’t even take the money. We were warmly welcomed by our colleagues. They surrounded us with attention and care.
The schoolchildren were also waiting for the Russian teachers, however, more with curiosity than with impatience.
The couple Anna and Ivan Donenko teach exact sciences. Now these lessons are some of the favorites of children. Moreover, the spouses were able to organize the work in such a way that even complex tasks in physics and mathematics are now solved by children like crazy and even managed to win prizes at the Republican Olympiad in informatics.
At recess, the boys do not leave a step to Ivan. Yet, after all, the teacher not only has extensive experience, but also several parachute jumps and even service in the navy. So there is something to be said.
Satisfied with the children and Galina Zadykhaylo. According to her, guys grab everything on the fly, they are very curious. But sometimes questions are asked that the teacher must think about before answering.
- The arrival of our colleagues from Russia is not only a great joy for us, but also an opportunity to exchange experiences, – explained Olga Lepeeva. – We have tried to make our customers feel comfortable and hope they will stay longer with us. We also have other good news. Soon a group of our schoolchildren will go on an excursion to Moscow, where the guys will get acquainted with the sights of the capital of Russia.
In the meantime
According to the Center for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation (“Interdom International School named after ED Stasova”), in early March 2023, a new group of schoolchildren from Kyrgyzstan arrived in Russia to study. It is made up of children aged 12 to 13. For three months, schoolchildren from the Kyrgyz Republic will study with their Russian peers and improve their level of knowledge of the Russian language. In their free time after studying, Kyrgyz children are waiting for quests and master classes. In addition, theatrical visits, excursions to Moscow and the cities of the Golden Ring of Russia are planned.
