Traffic police officers massively checked passenger buses from March 20 to 24 in the republic. According to the State Traffic Inspectorate of Karelia, public transport, which carries out regular, intercity and suburban routes, was inspected.

A total of 200 buses collided with the traffic police event. Traffic inspectors checked the technical condition of vehicles, the necessary documents, did not forget about checking the tachograph and a preventive conversation with drivers about strict observance of traffic rules.

During the raid, it was not without violations: 10 drivers decided not to respect the highway code. At the same time, 7 of them were in Petrozavodsk.

“Passenger traffic control measures will be continued,” added the National Traffic Inspectorate.
