Acting Governor Vasily Anokhin got acquainted with the work of the regional management center of the Smolensk region.
The region’s SDGs have been operating since November 25, 2020. Its specialists monitor, process and analyze citizens’ messages and comments on social networks and transmit the results to the competent authorities.
In addition to the analysis, CRL staff, in collaboration with regional services, informs residents of the region on the issues that concern them most. Conduct information campaigns in social networks on socially significant topics.
Vasily Anokhin noted that the work of the Center is very important to him.
“I was one of the very first to visit it specifically to see what conditions you work in, what questions you have. There is no doubt that we will certainly expand the functionality of the Center. Now the SDGs are, in fact, the living heart of the answers to all questions. The one who strikes the first blow in terms of problems, setting goals,” the head of the region emphasized.
On the LRC platform there are live broadcasts on social networks with heads of regional educational institutions and the Moscow region, where residents can contact them directly on issues that concern them.
Last year, these live broadcasts garnered over 500,000 views. They are distributed in the official community “Smolensk region” VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, and on the official pages of municipalities and executive bodies of the Smolensk region.
The plans of the new leadership are to modernize the work of the SDGs as follows. All questions and calls received will be filed under one or the other subject. The SDG will be a task fixer for authorities and municipalities. There is a clear timeline – 3-5 days to deal with the issue and a few days to resolve the issue. And then – a photo report. It is important that not a single question asked by the inhabitants of Smolensk is lost.
“Real stats are important to me, so I understand who is running how, how fast, who is solving problems how. Because everyone’s question is, in fact, my questions. And if I say decide, that means we have to decide,” the acting governor addressed the staff of the Center.
Summarizing the results of the visit, Vasily Anokhin pointed out that the SDG is a key mediator in the communication between Smolensk residents and government officials:
“You have to deal with (work) carefully and not formally – this is very important to me. You are an important organization for me, which will help to understand the situation – who works from my subordinates and who does not , where there is a strong team in the city authorities, where they are not very or not interested in solving problems My subordinates should be afraid of you that a call comes from the TsUR and, God forbid, something n is not decided in time.
