Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said he saw the risks of starting a Third World War. The escalation of international relations due to the Ukrainian conflict will not lead to a positive result, reports Hungary Today.
“I’m sure the threat of a world war is not exaggerated,” Orban said.
According to the Hungarian politician, with a large number of casualties, interest in arming Kiev may decline. However, such an outcome is technically plausible in the case of only more bloodshed and colossal casualties on both sides.
Orban worries that despite the growing tension, Western countries strongly support Ukraine. The number of countries wanting a ceasefire and peace is not growing, unlike the scourge of conflict that is hitting the global economy.
Earlier, Orban said that Hungary may reconsider its relations with the Russian Federation. After the end of the conflict in Ukraine, it is necessary to restore relations between Russia and Europe, but this prospect is far from reality.
